Years, YEARS! I have been looking for this manga, translated or not. Some of you may have heard of it, some not, but the closest I can get to finding the manga is this: http://dogasu.bulbagarden.net/manga/pocket_monsters/volume_one_01.html But I'm afraid a review isn't gonna cut it for me. The first time I heard that at one point in time Red had a potty-mouthed Clefairy, I WANTED IT. It has been almost 5 years now, and I'm getting very fed up. I have read through all the information Google could give me, still nothing. Sure I've come across some of the really early (and AWESOME) production art, but this is the best source of information there is. So now, Pokemon Masters, I want YOU to research. 'Ello, comm~ So, I received my Eevee from Bill in SS, and I decided that I want a Flareon on my team. But can someone tell me where Fire Stones are found in the game? And when is the best time to evolve an Eevee? I was thinking level 25 or so... Help is appreciated. |

So I just got to Goldenrod City, and I'm level grinding because Whitney's Miltank's Milk Drink is the most annoying thing this side of the planet, and I came across a Drowzee. Good god their new sprite animation is disturbing.
I never ever want to catch one now, which reminded me that I'm using a Gastly for the first time.
Gastly terrified me as a child. I couldn't get through Lavender Town without freaking out. So I ask you this:
What Pokemon did you find scary as a child and refuse to use?

Hey guys! I've been playing Heart Gold for a couple days now, and I've noticed a problem. Since I've played pokemon before - I'd like to think I notice the difference between day and night in pokemon. I'm currently at Azalea town and have not yet hooked up my pokewalker. My clock is current 18:38 which is 6:38 pm converted to 12 hour time. However, it looks as bright as day time would! And when I play during the day time, it looks as dark as night time. (And since I'm finding hoothoot and other night pokemon during the day, I believe that I am not wrong~_ Is there any reason for this? Anyone having this same problem? Know how to fix it? D:

Ok, I tried the bug catching event today. Reading the guide, I was looking at the section that gives you an idea of what could have a good chance of winning. High - point - value Pokemon
High - Level Pokemon AND SHINY Pokemon Now I have never seen a guide mention shiny's in that way, other then to say they are a rare catch in the grass. Now I could be reading more into this then there is. But looks to me that the bug catching event might give a better chance at shinys. Granted I gave up after catching a scyther and ended the contest to see the winner. So not sure if there was a chance at a shiny or not. |

One of my friends told me that if you use an Action Replay with SoulSilver/HeartGold there's something built into the new games that will simply reset you game. (aka, making "cheating" impossible.) I don't own an Action Replay, but curiosity got the better of me and I was wondering if this was true or not... I've seen codes for them online, why would there be codes if you can't use it? Thanks for your time. |

Does anyone know how much I could, or should, get for a factory sealed Pokémon Yellow? I never sell my video games, so I'm not too keen on the subject. I tried checking eBay (the only place I could think to look, and the only place I can think of to sell it on), but all I found were three buy it now listings (ranging from $80-$115), and no actual auctions. I just want to know what a reasonable price would be to try to sell it for, and if there's even enough of a demand to warrant trying to sell it. Hopefully, someone more knowledgable than I on the subject of Pokémon merchandise can steer me in the right direction on this. |

So, I'm on Route 35 in Heart Gold. I'm going back and forth between looking at a walkthrough so I know what wild pokemon are available in which areas. The one I'm looking at tells me that there is an officer with two Growlithes, who only battles you at night. It's nighttime, both here and in the game, and he's not battling me. Any idea why? Is the walkthrough wrong? Also, a second question: Do you try to keep your team pretty even, level-wise? Or is one significantly stronger than the others? I try to keep mine all at the same level, if possible. |
